Following months of increasing violence, the development coincides with precarious attempts to keep Israel and Hamas at a truce.

“Since the war resumed in March of this year, communication with the remaining groups of ours in the Rafah area has been cut off, and we are unaware of any incidents or clashes occurring there, as these are red zones under the occupation’s control.”
